iWorld Networking (Pacific) Private Limited was founded in Oct 2000 with funding from Japanese & American venture capitalists (SoftBank and Worldview Technology Partners respectively). The company provided internet security and consulting services to major financial institutions and corporations.

We are now also an IDA ("InfoComm Development Authority") licensed Service-Based Operator providing broadband internet access services in Singapore. iWorld is managed by several top telecom professionals from Singapore's largest ISP and telco. iWorld provides a FIRST CLASS network at economy prices. Our network is built on top of the SingaporeONE infrastructure, and hubbed at the heart of SingaporeONE at Chai Chee. It has direct connectivity to Tier-1 US internet backbone, and also direct local-peering connections to many Singapore ISPs. Run by experienced professionals, our network offers high speed, robust and reliable internet connectivity – only the higher-priced ISPs can boast of. Yet our prices are so competitive that even 2nd tier ISPs find hard to match. Our network latency of less than 250ms for Singapore-US (Pacific Coast) and low packet loss puts us on par with the leading ISPs in Singapore. Service Level Guarantees are provided for Leased-line customers. How are we able to achieve such high efficiencies? We have dozens of years of experience in building and operating telecom networks. We apportion our costs to where it matters most to you, our customers – that is, the Network.

iWorld Business Philosophy:

Our single-minded focus on providing fuss-free, fast & reliable network performance at low cost – and leveraging on a very competitive international wholesale market - allow us to be viable in a price-sensitive market. iWorld imposes a 12-month minimum subscription on ADSL, because this is mandated by the local-access provider. When a bad customer terminates his service before 12 months, iWorld makes a loss; and the loss has to be recovered from good customers like you. Hence, we impose the 7th-12th month pre-payment to contain the cost of errant customers. Good customers do not lose out, because we keep our mark-up very low and pass-on these savings back to you. Customers come to, and stay with iWorld because we are their partner-in-business.
